GAEA Ceramic Art Studio's Online Gallery: RR#1 Box 28C Long Run
Rd. Armstrong, PA 15618
The gallery exhibits earthenware pottery, sculpture, and jewelry. The
contemporary ceramic work is inspired by the natural events of the
woods and wetlands of western Pennsylvania. Many works are reduced
using the primitive pit fire to produce a metallic nature to the glaze.

Bobbi Ann Shaffer:
As a native of DuBois and a graduate of Penn State University in English,
my profession is actually as a floral designer. I enjoy every aspect of arts and
crafts and have tried them all in my 30+ years. In short, I lead a
multi-faceted creative life, but my passion lies in beadwork. I've been working
with beads now for quite a few years and have taught myself many of the
techniques I now use in my jewelry. I mainly work with seed beads and love to
create bracelets and necklaces using different forms of sewing the beads
together in patterns such as peyote or herringbone styles. My web site features
jewelry, art dolls, hankies, plus more, and marks a definite milestone in my
work.
