My name is Amy DiMichele and I am the Art Instructor of the Holy Family Institute After School Art Program.  My students are  children, ages 8-18, who have been removed from their homes and live on Holy Family's campus. The students are very open and expressive with their work which is why I am inviting all who view your website to visit VOICES...Visual Testimonies From the Hearts of Children... at The Father Ryan Arts Center, 420 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, pa.  15136. 

I have attached the poster for the show; The opening reception was this past Saturday, May 9th. It was wonderful to watch the participating young artists walking through the gallery proudly showing their work to their staff, volunteers, and  visitors from the public. Some were fortunate enough to have their family members attend.  
  

The goal of this show is to provide a rich self esteem for these fine young artists, age 8-18 as  this is the very first time they are displaying their artwork to the public. Also, to raise a public awareness of the importance that art has in everyone's life; not only in the artists themselves, but also in those who view such unique visual translations. Holy Family Institute has been serving families in need for the past 109 years.  I promise you, you will not be disappointed.
