I taught film arts. I founded the Pittsburgh Independent Film Makers at the New Cinema Workshop on 5744 Ellsworth in 1968 before o Oakland. I was entered in the Robert Flaerty Film Seminar in 1970 url:http://www.flahertyseminar.org/rffs_past_filmlist_1970.htm for my film Quantum. I had a scholarship to the National Film Board of Canada summer film seminar in 1970 under Dr. Donal Theall from McGill University and a Rockerfeller Grant for my Three dimension screen. I was mentioned many times in the Pittsburgh Post Gazzette.

Just stumbled across the Ivy web site.
I graduated from there in 1967, taught there 69-70.
Have been involved in design in Pittsburgh since 1967.
I have very fond memories of Ivy as I’m sure many
others do also.

This is Jerry Forney. I graduated from Ivy School of Art in 1967. I currently live in Florida and work as a fulltime Graphic Artist at Kennedy Space Center. Great place to work! My wife Ada and I have a side business called Storytree Productions. She is a professional storyteller. I write children's stories and do the illustrations. Nothing published yet. I'm working on it. It's a tough market to break into. Maybe we'll self-publish at some point.
