stuff like that. This 50 might be the last time we get to find out what our
lives have been about, we have lost so many
classmates all ready. Please if you know of a classmate that has never
been to a reunion try to see what it will take for
them to attend the 50th. We need ideas of where is a good place to hold it,
should it be a all afternoon out doors, what
month is best, is it too costly for the dinner, what about covered dish

I just wanted to thank you for letting me know about this reunion website,
and to thank you for all of your work in creating it. It is really
appreciated. I missed attending the last two reunions, but I hope to
attend the next one. I enjoyed the two pictures that you included on the
website. Some of the people haven't changed much, while others, such as
yourself, I wouldn't have recognized without the list of names below the
pictures.
I retired from teaching math here in the Pittsburgh area in 2003. My wife
has continued working in her job near the Pittsburgh Airport. We have been
taking short trips several times a year, visiting our two sons and
sight-seeing around the country. Retirement is a nice way to live.
I've

I worked as an industrial display designer and record album designer before
opening my own art studio in downtown Pittsburgh. I also held a position as
an instructor in the art department at the South Campus of Community College
for 11 years. I owned one of the first computer stores in the South Hills of
Pittsburgh for 14 years. Now retired, I still work part time with a local
recording studio that produce music CD’s and I’m also involved in web design
at brother’s computer business, Somerset Computer Center.
I have
served as Vice President and President of the Somerset County Artists
Association. I’m active as an artist and enjoy giving various painting
workshops, and have juried various art shows. One of my most memorable
experiences has been to study and paint many times in
Lucca, Italy with John Del Monte.

Michael and I couldn't make it this year due to the deaths of both of
Michael's parents and I missed seeing everyone.

Organized Runner's World Fun Runs at James Monroe track,
which continued for several years.
In 1975 ran my first race, a 10 kilometer run, in
Johnstown, Pa., by the Incline Plane
Ran my first marathon, 26 miles, 385 yards, (of nine) in
1976 in Baltimore, Md.
Started the Rappahannock Road Runners Club, affiliated with
the national RRCA.
Quit teaching to become a computer programmer with Sperry
Univac in 1978 at the Naval Surface Weapons Center in Dahlgren, Va. Worked on
the Mk 86 Gun Fire Control System used on U. S. Navy cruisers and destroyers.
Divorced and then supported the MK86 Gun testing in 1980 in
San Diego. Moved to San Diego to work for National Cash Register (NCR)

News about me???? My life is interesting... at least to me.... Ha!
Maybe not so much -- for anyone else. I'm not employed; but run
everything else in our lives since my Fed Ex driver husband is gone from
home about 12 hrs Mon - Fri so he doesn't have time or energy to take care
of our business. Consequently, I see myself as a capable person who can
take charge when necessary, but my bent is to be a significant team
player. Having moved 5 times in the past 13 years, has given me some
experience in the Real Estate Business. We now have a very enjoyable life
in Angola, IN with interests in many things including landscaping,
gardening, fishing, scrapbooking, making jewelry, nature, and attending
local events, etc. You name it and I probably like to do it. Tom does
deer hunting with a bow and we butcher and I can the meat. I still enjoy
lots of kinds of music. ( Not so much opera and heavy rock. ) I also
still persue a relationship with the Lord, and have found Him to be all
that He says He is. No disappointments there. I've also found out that
every one of us have at least one blow in life to deal with that is
powerful enough to do us in. My hard place is just as hard for me as your
hard place is for you, but God gives each of us the grace to make it
through the tough times with some sense of success or at least being able
to cope. I'm thankful that I'm able to keep going..even with some limping
and aches. No glasses except for reading, and no prescription meds so I
enjoy average health. I try to eat healthy, but I don't exercise much.
This is probably way more than you expected when you asked for
information...... Ha, Ha!!
