 A few words about my art: I tend to use acrylics for my paintings, and pastels and pencils
for my drawings. I like both realism and abstraction, depending on my mood, and above
all else I prefer the human figure in my representational works. In my abstract works I like
 to play with colors and textures. I use acrylics for my paintings because I like their immediacy and
their quick-drying properties.

 Tara Zalewsky-Nease
Tara received her Masters of Fine Art in Painting from the University of New Mexico (2006) and her Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design and Illustration from Kent State University, OH (2003). She recently moved from Albuquerque, New Mexico where she taught Painting, Drawing and Design classes for the Art Center Design College, the University of New Mexico and multiple community education programs.
