We are seeking artists throughout the state to participate in a groundbreaking opportunity.

The United Way of Pennsylvania is in the process of creating a traveling photo exhibit to showcase the true impact local United Ways have throughout the Commonwealth, and  have collected photos from the following counties:

We are looking for an artist from each county to create a new piece of art using the original photo from that county’s United Way as inspiration. When exhibited, the original photo and the new piece will be hung side by side, accomplishing both documentary and fine art at the same time.

The exhibit will then travel to each county represented in the show between September 2010 through August 2011, with the local United Ways serving as hosts.
