ROBERT PANEK
  
  Robert G. Panek, 47, Altoona, formerly of Stoystown RD 1, died Jan.
  16, 1994, at Mercy Hospital, Altoona.  Born May 21, 1946, in Somerset,
  son of Bernard C. and Vema (Pishko) Panek.  Preceded in death by
  parents.  Survived by former wife, Georgiann (Orlandi) Panek, and son,
  Robert T., both of Somerset.  Brother of Dr. Bernard S., married to
  Trevah Gordon, and John, married to Dolores Pelesky, both of
  Johnstown; Bernadette, wife of Donald Stutzman, Berlin; Mary Ann,
  wife of Barry Spangler, Salix, and Steven, married to Terri Spishak,
  Johnstown.  Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Jenners; Boswell
  Post 461, American Legion; Somerset Post 554, VFW; Jenner Rod and Gun
  Club, and Johnstown Council 467, K. of C. A 1964 graduate of the
  former Jenner-Boswell High School and president of the class.  Navy
  veteran of the Vietnam conflict.  Friends receivedfrom 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at
  7:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by Council 467 K. of C. Rosary
  service.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at St.
  Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell, Rev. Father Blase Wegierski,
  O.F.M. Conv.  Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Memorials to the
  Vocations Fund, in care of K. of C. 467, 229 Main St., Johnstown,
  15901, would be appreciated.  Graveside service in charge of Menoher
  Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
